Hi!
I love teaching, which is something I always suspected about myself but now know for sure. I teach a four week intro to food writing class and a six week multi-genre telling stories through food class at Catapult, and these classes are very much my babies. (There’s still a few spots left in the January and February classes if you want to sign up - I promise a juicy, creative, and fun start to 2023.)
I’m thinking about what I want to do more of in the next year, and the answer definitely involves more sharing my love of writing, words, stories, the weird and wonderful process of making the magic happen … and more creating community (writing can be so lonely). So I’m in brainstorming mode. What workshops, classes, meetings, or groups would get you writing, or keep you writing? What sounds fun and helpful?
Here are some of the things I’m thinking:
Memoir
Personal essay (more approachable, because these are shorter!)
Food writing
Juggling mom life and creative life
Freelance life
Eating disorder recovery and creativity
Cheese
Making time to write
The creative process
What else?
Drop me a line!
How is it December already? Hope you’re staying cozy and getting some sunshine as the days get shorter and shorter.
xo,
Hannah
PS Just for fun, here’s my one-year-old (how is he one already?) very proud about climbing into this box. I’m obsessed with that curl on the top of his head.
